Services for Josephine C. Outland, 85, Mill Terrace, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time for the service. She died at 8:23 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes. A native of Trigg County, she was born Sept. 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ora Ambie Cunningham Calhoun. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Her husband, Robert Outland Sr., died in 1993. A son, Charles Eddie Outland, also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Robert Bobby Outland Jr., Fairview, Raymond E. Outland, Christian County; a daughter, Margaret Proffit, Hopkinsville, six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
