JoAnne Wilson Horton, 82, Murray, formerly of Hopkinsville, died at 6:46 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital of natural causes. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Del Combs officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Calloway County, she was born May 10, 1930, the daughter of the late Gillis Wilson and Jewell Holsaeple Melugin. She was a private duty sitter and a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hardin, in 2006, and her daughter, Deborah Horton Allen. Survivors include two sons, Micheal (Patti) Horton, Hopkinsville, and Keith (Kim) Horton, Murray; her daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Bridgette Horton) Frommell, Puryear, Tenn.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
