Naoma J. Denson was born May 14th 1851. Departed this life, March 3, 1906, aged 54 years, 9 months and 17 days. She was the mother of seven children, six of whom still survive. Host of friends join the bereaved family in mourning the loss of their loved one. She professed faith in Christ in early life and joined the Missionary Baptist and was baptized with her husband, thirty odd years ago and has lived a faithful Christian life. The family, church and community will miss her very much, but our loss is her eternal gain. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. B. Hall after which the remains were placed in the Garrison Cemetery to await the resurrection.
