Roberta Beth Green, 64, of Streetman, Texas passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Kevin McKinley officiating. Services are under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Beth was born in Duncan, Oklahoma on January 6, 1951 to Mack and Mary Stogner. She graduated Duncan High School. She attended two colleges before she received her bachelor’s degree in education from Oklahoma State University.

Beth was a strong supporter of education. She loved to see a young person understand a confusing concept. She was proud of becoming a teacher and specialized in special needs education. She was patient and determined with her students. Her kindness and generosity provided a path for many students to learn new skills otherwise thought impossible. Beth enjoyed gardening and tolerated mowing. She started playing the piano at a young age and played at her local church. Beth had a passion for the lake and fishing. She was an accomplished angler. She loved to be on the water and was especially fond of Lake Texoma and Richland Chambers Reservoir. She shared a home on Richland Chambers with James Elliott.

Beth Green is survived by her mother, Mary Frances Stogner of Duncan, Oklahoma; her younger brother, Joel Stogner of Duncan; her daughter, Renee Arias and son-in-law Ruben, of Amarillo, Texas; her son, Cory Moore and daughter-in-law Susannah, of Pascagoula, Mississippi; her daughter, Kimberly Knight of Sanger, Texas; her grandchildren: Amanda Hammons and her husband Nick, of Amarillo, Texas, Jayston Gallaher of Duncan, Nicole Arias of Amarillo, Rachel Moore of Pascagoula and Aaron Moore of Pascagoula. Beth was blessed to meet her great grandson Michael Hammons of Amarillo.

Beth was preceded in death by her father, Mack Stogner and her husband Bob Green.
