He was the youngest of 7 children, born to Henry Marl Lovelace and Minnie Ida Parton Lovelace. He graduated from Texas A&M University and was a Chartered Life Underwriter and independent insurance agent for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years, Mary Helen Henderson Lovelace.
He is survived by his son George and wife Judy, his daughter Debra Lovelace Harvey and husband Steve, four grandchildren, Kristi Krouse, Tiffany Harvey, Sarah Harvey and Brian Lovelace, and three great-grandchildren, Connor, Allie, Weston Krouse, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Seaside Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Seaside Chapel with interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
