Private family services will be held in Kansas City.

Emily was born April 2, 1924, in Boone County to Ned and Sarah Nowell Gibbs. She was married to Bill McCaslin, who preceded her in death. Emily enjoyed their many trips together as she shared her “Boone County girl” energy with the world.

She graduated from Hickman High School in 1942. Emily worked at Page Boat Yard at the Lake of the Ozarks and Putnam Interior Design in Columbia. She was a state officer in PTA and a member of Wednesday Wives.

Survivors include a son, Roger Wilson and wife, Pat, of Columbia; a stepson, Jerry McCaslin and wife, Pat, of Liberty; a brother, Edward Gibbs and wife, Edy, of Columbia; grandchildren, Erin Wilson, Drew Wilson, Kaitlin Wilson, Jill Samuelson and husband, Jeff, and Marc McCaslin; four great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews, all equipped with many Aunt Emily stories.

Recently, Emily had resided at The Neighborhoods in Columbia, where she was cared for by a wonderful group of people in Smithton Village as well as by the staff from Hospice Advantage in her final days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Andy Wilson; and sisters, Jane Park and Betty Case. Emily was previously married to Roger Woodrow Wilson (deceased) of Boone County and Bill Reinhardt (deceased) of Lake Ozark.
