H. Lloyd Cripe, 93, of Delphi passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at his residence.

He was born July 17, 1921 in Carroll County, Indiana to the late Daniel and Chloe (Mullin) Cripe. Lloyd was a 1941 graduate of Camden High School.

Lloyd married Nancy Girton on June 30, 1962 in Delphi, Indiana and she survives.

He was a carpenter and electrician for Sullivan & George Construction and Hildebrandt Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Delphi Christian Church and was a deacon of the Church for 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and gardening. He also loved to work and help other people with their projects.

Surviving with his wife, Nancy are 3 children: Douglas Cripe (Vicki) of West Lafayette, Dennis Cripe and Cindi Kesler both of Lafayette. Also surviving is a granddaughter that he and Nancy raised, Brooke Blumling (Bob) of Lafayette.

Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Kim Harmon, Mindy Phillips and Morgan Norris and 9 great grandchildren. He is survived by 2 sisters; Helen Cree and Ruby Roberson (Tim) of Camden and 1 Brother, Ralph Cripe of Logansport.
He was preceded by daughter, Cheryl Ann Cripe; grandsons: Jared Miller and Ronald Foster; daughter-in-law, Connie Cripe and brothers Wayne & Roy Cripe.

Funeral Services will be Monday, April 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi with Pastor Bob Duke officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery in Delphi. Visitation will be Sunday April 5, 2015 at the funeral home from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
