Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 8 at 10:30 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, Parkville, MO. Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City. Ruth was born April 14, 1924 in Rockville, CT to Pete and Irene Morin. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Washington, DC in 1942, then worked for the FBI until she married Robert "Bob" Hannan on Sept. 27, 1944. In 1948, Ruth and Bob moved to Kansas City, where they raised two daughters and, among other endeavors, they operated Hannan's Cafe, until Bob's death in 1975. In 1980, Ruth married Anthony "Tony" Guillaume. They enjoyed 33 years together, until his passing in 2013. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and two husbands, along with a sister, Jeanne Marie McDade. She is survived by daughters Kathleen (Larry) Ginter and Maureen Dahnke; grandchildren Kala (Paul) Meyer and DC1 Pete (Bonnie) Ginter, US Navy; great-grandchildren Delaney Meyer, Christopher (Topper) Meyer; Marilyn Ginter and Austin Ginter; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Outside of her family and church, Ruth enjoyed quilting and various types of dance. She was always ready for a party and, more often than not, was the instigator behind the planning. She led a full and happy life and brought much joy to others through her enthusiasm. Our light on earth has dimmed, but that in heaven has grown brighter. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Groves Community Hospice, 15600 Woods Chapel Road, Suite A, Kansas City, MO 64139. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.mcgilleyantiochchapel.com as arrangements are under the direction of McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion, 816-453-7700 McGilley Antioch Chapel, Dignity Memorial
