Miss Carrie M. Hallauer passed away on Sunday, March 30, 1941, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Gottlieb Kittelberger. She had been in failing health for the past year.
Miss Hallauer was well known in this community as she was born in Webster and had spent her entire life here, and for many years conducted a millenary business here and at Union Hill. She was a life-long member or the Evangelical Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Kircher, and Mrs. Gottlieb Kittelberger; two brothers, Clarence Hallauer of Mount Morris and Nelson Hallauer of Webster.
Funeral services were held from Mrs. Kittelberger’s home on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Daniel Schauss officiating. Burial was made in Webster Rural Cemetery.
