Mrs. Josephine Ashcraft, 78, of 413 S. 8th St., died at 10:25 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Joseph C. Ashcraft; and a daughter, Mrs. Lucile A. Bangert, both of Springfield; a brother, Roy Hufford of Red Lands, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America and was active in real estate circles here.
The body is at the Bisch Memorial Home where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. W.T. Witop officiating.
Burial in Roselawn Cemetery.
