Elizabeth Nimmo Atwood, 100, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, passed away Jan. 5, 2003, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Atwood was born in Princess Anne County on April 16, 1902, and was the daughter of the late Ella Brock Nimmo and Claude Nimmo. She was the widow of Russell S. Atwood. She was a lifelong member of Nimmo United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her niece, Ada May Land of Richmond.
A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Nimmo United Methodist Church by Dr. Charles H. Smith III and the Rev. Warren L. Reeves, with burial in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nimmo United Methodist Church, 2200 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is in charge.
