Born in Pocahontas, he was a son of the late Lewis and Jennie Caffrey Agee. He was a member of North Hills Baptist Church and was chairman of deacons.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hazel Romines Agee of the home; a son, Larry D. Agee of Goshen, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Sheila Agee Ford of Ft. Worth, Tex.; two brothers, James Agee of Pocahontas and Lloyd Agee of Elkhart, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Packett of Marvell; three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Jan 5 in Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Jim Ward and Bill Rambo officiating. Burial followed in Rest Hills Cemetery. --Pocahontas Star Herald, Jan 15, 1987
