CRIMORA --
Shirley Irene (White) Boggs, 74, widow of Clyde Edward Boggs, of 71 Mine Branch Road, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at Augusta Health, Fishersville.
Mrs. Boggs was born March 4, 1941, in Wymer, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Clarence and Calora (Smith) White.
Shirley was strong in her Christian faith by giving inspiration to her family and all those who came into her life. She loved her family, holidays, giving to charities, enjoyed reading and had a green thumb when it came to gardening. Mrs. Boggs was a "major blessing to all."
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Boggs was preceded in death by a son, Gary Boggs; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Sprouse.
Surviving are three daughters, Dianna Miracle and her husband, David, of Greenville, Janice Allamong Boggs of Crimora and Carolyn Burt and her husband, Keith, of Fishersville; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday April 9, 2015, at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at Oaklawn Memory Gardens by her son-in-law, Pastor David Miracle.
It is suggested those desiring to make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive Staunton is in charge of arrangements.
