Charlie is my Uncle, the son of John Franklin "Frank" & Mabel Elizabeth (Moon) Sheats of Morgan Co IN, late of Indianapolis, Marion Co IN.

Charles married first to Shirley Myrtle Marks. Have just discover this marriage, so not much is known at this time.

He married secondly to my Aunt Betty Jane Mosier on 10 Mar 1949 in Indianapolis, Marion Co IN, the daughter of John Franklin & Elsie Jane (Kennedy) Mosier of Martinsville, Morgan Co IN. They had six children, two sons and four daughters.

Charlie enlisted as a Private in the US Army Air Corps on 30 Oct 1942 at Fort Benjamin Harrison. He served in both Korea and WWII and upon his discharge, he ranked Sergeant.

Charlie's sister Mary married my father's brother James. His second wife, my Aunt Betty, is my father's sister. Charlie's occupation was machinist. He passed away at the Mt Carmel Hospital in Columbus OH.
