Vinton relatives received word Wednesday evening, January 26, 1966, of the sudden death of Mrs. Margaret (Jack) Davis, 55, after suffering a stroke.
Margaret Fowler was born July 14, 1910. at Vinton, a daughter of Mr and Mrs. Kersey Fowler. She married Harry Shenafelt at Waterloo and he preceded her in death in 1945.
She married Jack Davis in 1949 and he survives her. In addition to her husband she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Jeanette Langham of Cedar Rapids and three brothers, Don Fowler and Lyle Fowler of Vinton and Bob Fowler of Cedar Rapids.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Herman funeral home in Stockton, Ill with burial at Yankee Hollow cemetery in Jo Daviess County, Ill.
