Mrs. Pinckney was born in Thayer, Kansas, the daughter of Hamilton E. and Mariah Heflin Adams. She had lived in Decatur most of her life. She married Edson Pinckney in Springfield in 1912. He died in 1936.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Alpha E. Hudson of Decatur. Four brothers preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Cerro Gordo Cemetery.
