Funeral rites were held Tuesday here for Robert N. Jackson, 87, retired carpenter, Laurel, who died Sunday, June 30, 1957. Burial was in the Laurel North cemetery. He is survived by widow, Clara Glenn-Jackson; nine sons, Thomas, of Clyde, O.; Carl, of Glencoe, Ky, Robert of Decatur County; Herman of Seattle, Wash.; Delbert and Scott, both of Laurel, and Wayne and Kenneth, both of Robards, Ky.; three daughters, Mrs Howard Greenwell of Elliston, Ky.; Mrs. Eddie W. Perkins of Connersville, and Mrs Verlin Adams of Laurel; one brother, Gilbert of Hope, and 65 grandchildren.
