Frances was the daughter of Rhuel and Martha Atchison. She married William Gravatt (son of John and Ellen Gravatt). Frances and William lived in Crawford County most of their life. Eight children were born to this union: Isolene Allen, Floyd C., Irene Hogan, Donald, Ruby Hilterbrand, Ima, Dona, and Virginia. Martha is buried in the Barnicle Chapel Cemetery and Rhuel is buried at the Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade, Washington Co, MO.
