Louise A. Stanford, 92, of Rock Island died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at the Hubbard Home, Osborn, Ill.
Louise A. Swan was born the daughter of Ludwig and Manghild Rapp Swan. She married Alden Stanford June 23, 1946, in Burlington.
Louise had studied music with Dillard Gunn in Chicago. She had been a private piano instructor.
Survivors include a daughter, a son, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a sister, Mary Sharkey.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur, John and Charles Swan.
