Wife of Johann Anthon AMENT

Maria "Moley "Magdelena [PAULUS] AMENT was my 4th Great Grandmother, wife of Johann Anthon AMENT, and mother of my 3rd great grandmother, Anna Maria AMENT, wife of Casper TROUT. Molly was born 17 May 1734 in Essenheim, Electoral Palatinate, Holy Roman Empire (now in Mainz-Bingen, Rheinland Pfalz, Germany), and husband Anthon AMENT was born c. 1732 in Battenberg, Electoral Patinate (now in Bad Dürkheim, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany). Molly arrived with her father, Johann Michael PAULUS, in Phillidelphia 3 Sep 1743 on the ship "Loyal Judith," James Cowie, Master, from Rotterdam. They originally lived in York County, PA until husband Anthon moved the family to northwestern west Loudoun County, VA, in 1782. The 203-acre AMENT Farm was on the high meadows overlooking the Potomac River due north of Taylorstown, Loudoun, Virginia.
