Cecil M. Armstrong, aged three years, six months and four days, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armstrong, North Fayette street, died at the home of her parents last Friday evening, after an illness of about a week. She is survived by her parents, and these brothers and sisters; Gladys, Charles, Omar, Frank Jr., Hattie, Harvey, Hugh and Mary, all at home.
The Armstrong family has had its share of misfortune this summer. It was Cecil's 14 year- old brother, Harvey that was seriously injured last July when he was accidentally shot by a playmate.
Services for the little daughter were conducted by Rev. Donald Thomas, of town, and were held by the U.B. Church of Mercersburg. The funeral procession left Shippensburg on Sunday afternoon and burial was at Fairview cemetery, Mercersburg.
