Laura Matilda Isaacs Johnson
Laura Matilda Isaacs Johnson was born to Emsley Isaacs Jr. and Lydia "Liddie"Carpenter Isaacs as their seventh child of ten children born. Six of the children died in childhood named Charlie, Cordelia, William, Charlotte, Richard and Julie. Along with Laura that survived to adulthood were James Burton "Burt" Isaacs, Aaron Wesley Isaacs, and Destie M Isaacs Benfield.
Laura married William "Sherman" Johnson, son of Perrin and Eliza Jane Franklin Johnson. Laura and Sherman had nine children named Lloyd, Desta, Julia, Joda, Goldman, Fred, Raleigh, Nellis, and Emory.

Laura was a sister to my Grandfather, Aaron Wesley Isaacs.
