Son of William & Winifred (Garrett) Fletcher.

Husband of Rhoda Jane Griffin (b. 1780s), daughter of Richard & Mary (Brown) Griffin, Sr. of Montgomery co, KY. To my knowledge, 4th great-grandpa was never married to an Elizabeth (Holbrook), nor did he live in Indiana in 1850 as he passed away in Christian County, IL in 1841.

Father of ten known children:
1. Kiturah Ann Fletcher White (1805-1867)
2. Betsy Fletcher Cary
3. John G. Fletcher (1810- 1888)
4. Griffin Taylor Fletcher (1811-1883).
5. Albert G. Fletcher
6. James M. Fletcher (d. 1909)
7. Alfred G. Fletcher (d. 1842)
8. Delcina (Dulcina)Fletcher (b. 1821)
9. William T. Fletcher

1825 - Land along Hinkston, Lulbegrud and Tulbeard Creeks in Montgomery County, KY. was given to brothers, John, William, Jr, Robert and James in William Fletcher, Sr.'s will. John, William, Jr. and James bought out Robert's portion.

1829 = Moved to Sangamon/Christian Co, IL from Montgomery County, KY in 1829-30 (Winter of the Deep Snow). Possibly buried in Stafford Cemetery, Osbernville, IL although we have no proof, however, his grandson, John W. Fletcher's Macon County, IL biography stated "his last days were spent in Decatur."
