Blanche Warren Crenshaw

One of nine children, eight sisters and one brother, born to the late Tilman and Lizzie Warren was born on February 9th of 1925. She departed this life on Thursday, May 5, 2005. Blanche Warren Crenshaw, better know as "chicken" to her loved ones, received her education through the public schools of Satoshia and Yazoo City, Mississippi.

Blanche loved family and people in general. She was a humble and meek person, and a joy to talk to. She leaves behind to mourn: one beloved son, Theodis Crenshaw, r.; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Ann Crenshaw; three grandchildren, Theodis Terrell Crenshaw, Racquel Michael Crenshaw, Tenisha Sheri Crenshaw; six great-grandchildren: Ledarius, 14; Latrell, 12; Kloe, 3; Donnis, 12: Sheriah, 5; and Tyshell, 5.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 at Jordan-Gray Funeral Home, will calling there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The family will host a reception following the services at Ryans Restaurant, 655 N. Shadeland Ave.
