Death of Aged Lady
Mrs. Caroline Katterman, widow
of Isaac Katterman, nee Walborn,
died on Sunday evening at the home
of her son, I. W. Katterman, at Mt.
Aetna, aged 92 ears. A singular
coincidence is the fact that she died
on her birthday. Until a little over
a week ago, Mrs. Katterman was
remarkably well preserved, consider-
ing her great age. She was taken ill
with what appeared to be only a
slight cold, but pleuro pneumonia
developed and was the cause of her
death.
Mr. Katterman died about 20 years
ago. The following children sur-
vive; Mrs. Catherine Klopp and I.
Washington Katterman, of Mt.
Aetna; Allen Katterman and Mrs.
James Peiffer, both of this place.
The funeral will be held on Friday
morning at 10 o'clock at the house.
The services will be held in Christ
Lutheran church, Stouchsburg. Rev.
W. S. Dry officiating. Interment in
the adjoining cemetery. The ar-
rangements are being made by Fun-
eral Director Isaac N. Bahney.
