Kathryn M. “Kay” Abel, 90, of Beallsville, died Friday July 15, 2011 in the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM with her beloved former pastor, Tina Gallaher officiating.
Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be conducted Monday evening at 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Because The Fuller Center for Housing (a Christian housing ministry making simple decent housing possible, where her son serves on the International Board of Directors), and her church were important to her, contributions may be sent in Kathryn’s memory to The Fuller Center for Housing at P.O. Box 523 Americus, GA 31709 (or online at www.fullercenter.org) or to the Beallsville United Methodist Church, PO Box 61, Beallsville, Ohio 43716.
