Donald Bourne Jennings, 90, of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in the Waddell Nursing Home. Mr. Jennings was born May 1, 1924 in Grayson County, Virginia to John and Nannie Porter Jennings. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Harper Jennings.
He is survived by two daughters: Emily Katherine Jennings; Patricia Ann Jennings; special nephew Joe Hicks; sister Carolyn Jones; brothers Allen Jennings and Fred Jennings. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the Fries Baptist Church with Rev. John Williams and Rev. Glenn Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in the Fries Cemetery.
Military rites by Grayson VFW Post #7726 will be conducted at the graveside(Fries Cemetery)
