Ira Jean Pebworth Evans, 91, of Wilburton, passed away Dec. 1, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark.
Ira was born in Coalgate on Nov. 29, 1923, a daughter of the late Vera (Locke) Pebworth and Preston Pebworth.
Ira was a data processor and keyboard operator and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by daughters ___ (omitted for privacy) of Wilburton who was born and raised in Coalgate, and ___ (omitted for privacy) of Tyler, Texas; son ___ (omitted for privacy of Washington; sisters ___ (omitted for privacy) of Ada, and ___ (omitted for privacy) of Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers, and six sisters.
