Nicholas N. Bushey died at home of his daughter, Mrs.J.W.O. Miller, at Latimore township on Feb. 3, from a recent stroke of paralysis, aged 88 years.
He was born in Reading Township where he resided many years as a farmer. He was one of the last old fashioned School masters, having taught school for eight years more than a half century ago.
The funeral was held on Monday of last week, internment at Lower Bermudian Church. He leaves four children, Mrs. J.W.O. Miller and Charles J. Bushey of Latimore Township, Mrs. Eli Smith of Wellsville, and Searight Bushey of Missouri.
