Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of John H. Dallas, (President of the Philadelphia Realty Board) and Jean (Anderson) Dallas.
Dottie graduated from Cheltenham High School and attended Sullins College in Bristol, VA. She worked in the Treasurer's Office of The Pennsylvania Railroad in Philadelphia before dedicating the rest of her life to her home and family. Although she spent a lot of time in her early years on the tennis court and bowling, her lifelong love and expertise was the game of bridge. Dottie and her family were active members of The Church of the Messiah since 1959
Dottie is survived by her three children, John D. Mathews of North Wales, Susan M. Saldutti of Pound Ridge, NY, and Barbara M. Griffin of Doylestown, PA. She is also blessed with six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services at the Church of the Messiah, 1002 Dekalb Pike at Plymouth Road, PO Box 127, Gwynedd, PA 19436, Tuesday, September 2 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Messiah Cemetery.
