Charles H. Rice 79 of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at his home. Mr. Rice was born in Buckhead, Morgan County, Georgia to the late John Harvey McCracken and Lucille Ivey McCracken Rice. John Harvey McCracken died in 1936 before Charles was two years old. Lucille McCracken married Woodrow Rice in 1937 and Charles was adopted by Woodrow Rice. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rice is preceded in death by his children Charles David Rice, Robert Donald Rice and grandchild Christopher Rice.
A memorial service will be held at at Eastridge Community Church. Inurnment will follow at Bethel Community Cemetery.
