Son of William Willison and Priscilla Buzzard; husband of Mary Ellen Adams; the Willisons are my great-great-grandparents, the grandparents of my Grandmother, Florence Williams Marshall.

This obituary, from the Clarion Historical Society, is shared by Find-A Grave member Dottie Kunselman:

"James Alex Willison, died at his home at Distant, April 25, 1932, aged 80 years, 9 months and 4 days, the cause of his death being heart-trouble. Deceased was a son of William and Priscilla (Buzzard) Willison and was born July 21, 1851. He married Mary C Adams and to this union three sons and one daughter survive, namely: W H of New Bethlehem; L J and F S of Distant; and Mrs L P Williams of Kellersburg. Two daughters preceded him in death. He is also survived by 20 grand-children, 38 great grandchildren, two brothers, A M and G W and one sister, Mrs W D Smith. Funeral Services in his memory were held in the Church of God at Distant on Thursday of this week at 2:00 o'clock pm and were conducted by Rev G E Sample; after which interment under the direction of Chas. W White was made in the Narrows cemetery."
