Robert Gray Masson Andrew, 57, died at his brother, John Andrew's residence at 1403 Sylvanie on May 31, 1898 in the afternoon.

He was born in Huntley, Scotland to George Andrew and Janet (Skinner) Andrew. He was the brother of Jessie Andrews Kelly.

A bachelor, he had lived in St. Joseph for 12 years. Prior to coming to St. Joseph, he was engaged in the mercantile business in Atchison and prior to that, he was an express manager on the old Atchison and Nebraska, which became the Burlington and Missouri River, railroad.

He's laid beside his sister, Jessie, and her son, Charles A Kelly, at the Mount Mora Cemetery in St. Joseph, MO.

A baptismal record online that states he was baptized on February 14, 1841, however, his tombstone says he was born on February 17, 1841.

At Mount Mora cemetery, his cause of death is listed as "sclerosis of valves of heart."

He was interred at Mount Mora cemetery on June 2, 1898. His lot is burial number 3984, block 25, Section B. The undertaker was Heaton.
