Sadie was born to the Parents of Martin Stapleton (b. Nov. 1884 Luggacurren, Laois, Ireland d. 25 Dec 1909 New Castle Hundred, Delaware) and Harriett Hipp Stapleton (b. Mar. 1848 New York d. 3 Dec 1907 Bear Station, Delaware). Twin to Sarah Stapleton and sister to Francis B. Stapleton, Anne M. Staplteon, William Henry Stapleton, Edward James Stapleton, and Joseph Albert Stapleton.

She was born on her fathers farm near Bear Station, Bear Delaware. She later became ill and was in Farnhurst Sanitarium, dying of Apoplexy (unconsciousness or incapacity resulting from a cerebral hemorrhage or stroke). Death record shows she is buried in Glebe Cemetery, but no stone has been found.

As My Great Aunt, I create this Memorial in her name.

You died Young, but know that you were loved by your family, and as your grand niece you are not forgotten. One day we shall meet.
