Mrs. Marjorie Adams, 65, R.R.1, Waldron, died Saturday, Feb. 7, at 2:40 p.m. at the W.S. Major Hospital in Shelbyville.

Mrs. Adams was born in Shelby County Dec. 27, 1915, the daughter of Alonzo F. and Carrie Bruner McCain. She was married to Clifford C. Adams and he preceded her in death June 27, 1968. Mrs. Adams is survived by one son, Carl (Pinky) Adams, R.R.1, St. Paul; three brothers: George R. McCain, Shelbyville, Charles L. McCain, R.R.1, Flat Rock and Robert A. McCain, Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Maxine Adams, R.R.1, St. Paul; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

She was a member of the Lewis Creek Baptist Church and the Waldron OES No. 187.

The services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the Lewis Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jan Hobbs, officiating and with burial in the Lewis Creek Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Glenn E. George Funeral Home in St. Paul after 4 p.m. today and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
