GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens
VISITATION: Will be immediately following the service at the Faith Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall
HISTORY: Mrs. Eskridge was born February 29, 1924, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late A. Bub and Lessie White Hammond. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a retired legal secretary with the Law Office of Harris, Griggs, and Spruill. Mrs. Eskridge was a faithful charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed needlework, gardening, and coffee with her friends. Emma Rae especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Emma Rae was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wilbur, Fay, and Jack Hammond, and by her sister Louise Hammond Gulledge.

Husband of 70 years: Ernest R. Eskridge of the home
Son: Randy (Nancy) Eskridge of Mauldin, SC
Daughter: Nancy Eskridge Scoggins of Columbia, SC
2 Grandsons: Matthew (Andrea) Eskridge of Baltimore, Md. and Dixon (Lauren) Scoggins of Simpsonville, SC
2 Great Grandchildren: Jack Elliott Eskridge and Ellery Scoggins
