MRS. DORIS MILES RAUCH, 86, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Lake City Community Hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Hicks Cemetery in Coward. The family will have visitation from 2:00 3:00 P.M. at Carolina Funeral Home prior to the services on Thursday. Mrs. Rauch was born December11, 1928, in Coward, the daughter of the late Willie L. Miles and Vermell Kennedy Miles. She graduated from J. C. Lynch High School and Palmer College in Columbia. Mrs. Rauch retired from Rainwater Furniture Company in Florence as an Accounts Receivable Clerk after 21 years of service. Survivors include one sister, Claudia Cutter of Florence, and one brother, Willie Joe "Bubba" Miles of Scranton. Mrs. Rauch was preceded in death by a son, Roy L. Rauch; brothers, David, Devern and Chalmers; and sisters, Zadie, Minnie, Betty Jean and Louise.
