Henry Moser was born c.1816 to Jacob and Elizabeth Moser. During the Civil War, Acting Master's Mate Henry Moser, U.S. Navy, was assigned to the Navy's first submarine U.S.S. ALLIGATOR which was commanded by his brother-in-law, Acting Master Samuel Eakins, U.S. Navy.
