Marie Magdalene Farley, 91, of Springfield, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 11, 2003, at 9:30 p.m. in Greene Haven Nursing Home. She was born on March 4, 1912, in Neosho, Mo., to Samuel and Emma (Rahmes) Hutchings. She was a homemaker and a loving caregiver to her family. Family and friends will always remember her giving, gardening and being a great seamstress. Marie came to know the Lord through salvation April 1, 1970, was baptized April 5, 1970, and attended Central Assembly. Her husband, Roy Thomas Farley, preceded her in death on May 18, 1990. Marie is survived by her daughter, Helen Thomas; two grandchildren, Michael Thomas, and Teresa (Thomas) Tummons and her husband Terry; and two great grandchildren, Tonnica and Tori Tummons.
Burial in Brookline Cemetery.
