Loving father of Georgia J. (Edward) Banach; dearest grandfather of Susan (Kurt) Kambic. David (Tracy), Dennis and Robert Banach; three great grandchildren, Emily Kambic, Cody
and Stephanie Banach; and two step sisters. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Rose (nee Klobucher) Plese; his parents, George and Anna (nee Malnic) Plese; sister Irene (late Ross) Gunder; and brother, Lawrence (late Enid)Plese. George was born in Joliet and a life long resident. He operated U.S. Market for over 50 years. Interment St Joseph Cemetery, June 21, 2005.
