Clara Mae was born in Blair, Nebraska, on September 3, 1922, to Arthur and Celia (Wulf) Hansen.

She married Michael E. Klingforth, and the marriage was blessed by three daughters.

Mrs. Klingforth worked at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in placement and admissions. She touched thousands of lives and helped start many careers during her tenure.

Clara Mae (Hansen) Klingforth, 92, of Omaha, formerly of Blair, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael E. Klingforth; sisters: Ruth Christensen and Lillian Jipp.

Left with memories are daughters: Julie (James W.) Simpson of Asheville, NC and Jerilyn Sheef and Joyce Swift of Omaha; grandchildren: Carrie Walsh and Jaime Simpson, Jenny Olson and Becky Scheef, and Ben Swift and Molly Swift; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

The funeral will be 10:30 am Saturday, March 28, at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 15002 Blondo St., in Omaha, Nebraska, followed by luncheon. The interment will be in the family plot in the Blair Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and Open Door Mission.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in service to the family.
