Stephen Ray Bradshaw, son of William Frank Bradshaw and Edith Vanscoy was born October 29, 1911 in St. Charles, Iowa and passed away September 9, 1988 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Stephen attended school in St. Charles. He was united in marriage to Alice Thrailkill on August 25, 1937 and to this union one daughter, Carolyn Ann was born.
In his early years Stephen was a farmer and then went to work for Concrete Material in Des Moines for a number of years before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice; his parents; two brothers, Joe of Martensdale, Iowa and Clarence of Casper, Wyoming, and a sister, Lola Smith of Winterset.
Survivors are a daughter, Carolyn Ann and husband Richard Harris and a granddaughter, Lee Ann Harris all of Dexter; a sister, Ena Maude Smith of St. Charles; many nieces and nephews and many friends.
Burial was in Penn Center cemetery.
