Glen Olaf Blair was born on Dec. 13, 1924, in Reeds Spring, Mo., to John Harrison and Ova Mae Plummer Blair. He went home to be with the Lord at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at age 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elsie Edwards Blair; one son, Lewis Glen Blair, Camdenton; three daughters, Esther Blair Tull, Camdenton, Emily Blair Mensendiek and husband Tim, Lee's Summit, Mo., Maggie Blair Butterfield and husband James, Pleasant Hill, Mo.; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson; two brothers, C.C. Blair and wife Dorothy, Camdenton; Les Blair and wife Geanie, Osage Beach; sisters-in-law, Mary Blair and Ruth Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Robert, Edgar, Ralph, John Jr., and Donald; and one sister, Lola Grace. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today in the Hedges Funeral Home of Camdenton. Services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, in the First Baptist Church of Camdenton, with visitation from 12:30 p.m. to service time. Burial will be in the Dale Blair Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Glen's name to the donor's choice of First Baptist Church of Camdenton, Campus Crusade for Christ or Young Life.
