She grew up in McKinleyville. She was the fourth child in a large family of six. She met the love of her life, Scott Boyd, in Humboldt. They were married on June 6, 1981. They had three children: Derek, Melissa and Cory; two grandchildren Scotty and Kaylee.
The last 12 years of her life were spent in Campo, CA, where she was well-known for her generosity of spirit and caring for others. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and extended family. This is only a portion of a short life well spent. She had a wealth of compassion and could share your happiness as well as your sadness.
