Stephen E. Wilkie, of Milton, passed away unexpectedly, in the company of his loving family, on Sunday, March 22, 2015. A life long Milton resident, Stephen graduated from Milton High School in 1972 and was a 25 year employee of Instron Corp., Norwood and a 15 year employee of College Town, Inc. He was actively involved with the Milton High School Hockey Team as Manager for 30 years as well as a member of the Cunningham Mens Bowling League, the Friday Nighters Bowling League and spent many years involved in Sgroiball with Uncle Bud. He had been inducted into the Milton High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The beloved son of Mary R. (Sgroi) of Milton and the late Lloyd E. Wilkie, he is survived by his brother Andrew Wilkie and his nephews and niece, Ryan, Steven and Elisabeth Wilkie all of Avondale, PA, his aunt and uncle, Nancy and Walter Buddy Sgroi of Watertown and many loving and caring cousins. Stephen was a friend of many and loved by all. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Saturday morning at 9. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Friday 3-8 p.m. Burial Milton Cemetery.
