Lawrence Charles Jussel, 91, died Thursday at Point Lookout Village of Christian Health Care in Hollister, Mo. He was born July 31, 1912, to Michael and Caroline (Bussard) Jussel in McCook, Neb. Lawrence worked for many years in home construction and was a World War II Army veteran, serving from July 10, 1943, to Oct. 7, 1944. Lawrence was also a member of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ida May, in 1986, and a sister, Lela Ruyspert. He is survived by his sister, Vera Luce of Branson, Mo., and by several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Springfield National Cemetery with Rev. J.D. Jones officiating under the direction of Klingner Mortuary. Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the mortuary. Memorial donations may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
