Delrose C. Donham nee Barbier, 97 of Columbia, IL. formerly of Belleville and East St. Louis, IL. born on August 27, 1917 in French Village, IL, passed away on March 21, 2015 at Columbia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Miller Donham, a disabled daughter Mildred Kathleen Donham whom she lovingly cared for, for over 50 years in her home. Her parents, Edward & Felicite Davinroy, Barbier, two brothers, Edward (Grace) Barbier and Joseph Barbier, two sisters, Olivette (Clifford) Fultz and Isabelle Sharleville, one niece Judy Barbier Foster Dotson.
Surviving are her children, Dennis (Rose) Donham of Wexford, PA and Phyllis (Cardon) Lackey of Columbia, IL. Three grandchildren, Michele (Jim) Schwab of Columbia, IL, Stephen (Kim) Lackey of Fenton, MO, Matthew Donham of Wexford, PA, four great grandchildren, Jocee Lackey Hoffman, Tasha Lackey Hoffman, Calvin Lackey and Claire Lackey, one niece Marilyn Towler and two nephews, Jack Fultz and Edward Barbier. She was a dear aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to all.
Visitation will be on Tuesday March 24, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the funeral home with Msgr. Carl Schereer officiating. Burial will be private at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery Fairview Hgts, IL.
