Memorial Gardens, Caldwell, by the Rev. Joseph Housh, First United Methodist Church,
Nampa, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
She was born Jan. 22, 1890, at Star, Idaho Territory, where she was reared. She attended
Central Park School in Star. She married John Alvin Means on Dec. 25, 1908, at Boise.
They lived at Star until moving to Nampa in 1921. She was a member of First United
Methodist Church at Nampa and the Friendly Circle Club.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Means of Winnemucca, Nev.; two daughters, Mrs. G.J.
(Charolette) Gardener of Meridian and Mrs. C.T. (Roxie) Cornilles of Nampa; two
sister-in-laws, Gladys Means of Nampa and Ethel Pope of Portland, six grandchildren; 17
great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a niece and a nephew. She was
preceded in death by her husband and a son.
Friends may call at the chapel all day today and until 1 p.m. Wednesday, and meet at the
cemetery for services.
Memorials may be made to the Nampa First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
