Victor was born May 26, 1922 in Byron, Nebraska to Henry William Meyer and Fanny Wuebke Johnson. He married Clara H. Kirchhoff on April 2, 1945 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Byron, Nebraska. They moved to Loveland in August, 1964 from Deshler, Nebraska.
Victor and Clara first lived on farms in Nuckolls and Thayer Counties in Nebraska before moving to Deshler, Nebraska. Together with Victor’s brother in law they owned Massey Harris Implements. He also farmed and did custom combining.
He enjoyed camping, traveling, wintering in Palm Springs, California, helping both of his sons with their sprinkler, trailer park, and Meyer Auto wholesaling businesses and spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife, Clara Meyer of Loveland; son and daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, brother and sister-in-law, three sisters and a brother-in-law, nieces and nephews [survivors names omitted].
Victor was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Don Meyer; brothers, Walter Meyer, Raymond Meyer, Laverne Meyer, and Richard Meyer; sisters, Mildred Hoops and Ruby Hoops.
