Myrtle H. Streble Smith, 91, of Lincoln Hills Nursing Home, New Albany, died Monday (Jan 11) at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Meade County, Kentucky.
Survivors include five daughters, Mary Guidotti of Santa Maria, CA, Ethel Mann of Tullah, LA, Lillian Miller of Clarksville, Bessie Rainbolt of Corydon, and Alma Cox of New Albandy; a sister, Ethel Long of Radcliff, KY; five brothers, Gus, Phillip, Van and Roy Streble all of Valley Station, KY and Dick Streble of Shepardsville, KY; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were still pending yesterday (12 Jan) afternoon, but a spokesman at Kraft Funeral Home in New Albany said the service is tentatively set for Thursday (14 Jan). Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
